(you can google, how to disable hibernation button on start menu to get rid of it)ДЄs for the BIOS updates, im still currently on the manufacturers version and i heard using 'winflash' to update your BIOS would brick your computer which was why i didnt update mine. i prefer using sleep because it saves the memory of your last session and puts your computer into a standby mode where as Hibernate is merely used to wake up the computer for faster use.

I experienced the same issue on my 75VW Asus laptop notebook and i just changed the Hibernate button and disabled it from my computer and now i use the sleep button.
